Engagement & Sponsoring
Social responsibility has always been important to Berenberg and we remain committed today.
At the end of the 16th century our founders were involved with leading the Niederländische Armen-Casse (Dutch Poor-Relief Fund), which continues to exist. Berenberg engages with wider society in many ways. We act as a patron to the arts and sponsor cultural, scientific and sporting events. Notably we promote young artists through the Berenberg Bank Stiftung (Berenberg Bank Foundation). We also encourage our employees to engage with the BerenbergKids foundation.
